This is Franco Biondi Santi's true masterpiece, and is a monument to Brunello.  Intense floral and earthy fragrance with spice, leather and tobacco underpinning layers of wild cherry, earth, minerality and compelling thought provoking depths of flavour.  The balance is impeccable and two decades after vintage shows incredible freshness.  This will age for decades thanks to vibrant acidity and elegant regal tannins.  Truly stunning and a wine that rightfully takes it's place amongst the finest wines in the world.  Will drink best from 2024-2054, but will drink well into the next century.
